Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prepare
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.
2️⃣ Bread the Chicken
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip into eggs, and coat with breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly.
3️⃣ Fry the Chicken
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
4️⃣ Assemble & Bake
- Spread ½ cup marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Place the fried chicken cutlets on top and spoon more marinara sauce over each.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, then broil for 2-3 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
